Website redesign for businesses across the UK
TTPCreative.uk redesigns websites for new and growing businesses across the UK. I'm Ford, a digital brand designer based in Edinburgh. If your site looks dated, loads slowly or falls apart on a phone, I rebuild it from scratch: responsive, fast and built around your business now. I build every site myself. Drop me a message. I reply within 24 hours.
Signs it's time
Is your website holding you back?
If people leave before they get in touch, it might be. They check you out online first, and if the site looks dated, loads slowly or is a fight on a phone, they move on to someone else.
- It looks old, or doesn't match your brand any more.
- It's slow to load.
- It's hard to use on a phone.
- You built it yourself years ago, and it shows.
- Your business has changed, and the site hasn't.
What you get
What a website redesign includes
Every redesign is scoped to your business. It can include everything below. Starting from nothing, with no site yet? That's a new website build.
- Rebuilt from scratchNo templates, no shortcuts. Your old site is the starting point, not the blueprint.
- Works on every screenPhone, tablet and desktop.
- CopywritingWritten by me, or supplied by you.
- ImagesChosen and set up to suit the new design.
- Basic SEO setupSo Google and AI search understand who you are.
- Contact and booking formsSo getting in touch is easy.
- Domain and email setupYour web address and business email, sorted.
- Three rounds of revisionsRoom to get it right.
- Hosting availableOn monthly or yearly plans.
I can write the words too
Old sites often have tired words as well as a tired look. If you want, I'll rewrite them so they sound like you and tell people what to do next. Or send me your own. Your call.
Need the brand refreshed as well?
If the logo feels as dated as the site, it makes sense to sort both at once. LC Gyrotonic got a rebrand and a new website together. See rebrand.
Responsive design
Responsive web design, in plain words
A responsive website rearranges itself to fit whatever screen it's on, so it reads and works properly on a phone, a tablet or a laptop. Every site I build is designed mobile-first.
That means I start with the phone and work up. Buttons are easy to tap, text is easy to read without zooming, and nothing spills off the side of the screen.
Redesign or fix
Full redesign or just a fix?
Not every tired website needs rebuilding. Here's how to tell.
A small fix might be enough if:
- The site still looks current.
- It works properly on a phone.
- Only one or two small things are wrong.
In that case, a quick word with whoever looks after your site might be all you need.
A rebuild makes more sense if:
- It looks dated.
- It's slow.
- It doesn't work on a phone.
- It's hard to update.
- It no longer fits the business.
That's where I come in. If your site needs more than a quick fix, I'll rebuild it properly. Tell me about it and I'll give you a straight answer.
Getting found
Keeping your Google visibility during a redesign
A redesign can knock your Google visibility if old pages vanish and nothing points to the new ones. It doesn't have to.
Your old page addresses are redirected to the new ones, so you keep the Google visibility you've built up. I move your existing content across, write the page titles and descriptions properly, and every rebuilt site gets a basic SEO setup.
SEO is part of what I do. For ongoing visibility on Google and in AI search, that's what my SEO/AEO retainer is for, and we can talk through what's realistic for your business.
How it works
How a redesign works
Five steps, and you're in the loop the whole way.
-
01
We talk
About your current site: what works, what doesn't, and what your business needs now.
-
02
Concepts and layouts
You see progress along the way, so nothing comes as a surprise.
-
03
Feedback
Three rounds of revisions. We go back and forth until it feels right.
-
04
Build and launch
I build the new site myself, set up your domain and email, and take it live.
-
05
Support after launch
I don't disappear after handover.
A redesign usually takes around 14 days, depending on the project. How many pages you need, whether branding is part of it, and how quickly content and feedback come back all play a part. Transferring an existing domain can also add time.

FAQ
Website redesign FAQs
01
How much does a website redesign cost?
→
Every redesign is quoted per project. The price depends on how many pages you need, whether branding is part of it, who writes the copy and features like booking forms. Tell me what you need and I'll send you a clear quote.
02
Will redesigning my website hurt my Google rankings?
→
It doesn't have to. Your old page addresses are redirected to the new ones, so you keep the Google visibility you've built up. I move your content across and set up the basics properly, and we can talk through what's realistic for your business.
03
Do I need a full redesign or just a fix?
→
Not always a full redesign. If your site still looks current and works on a phone, a small fix from whoever looks after it might be all you need. If it's dated, slow or hard to use on a phone, a rebuild makes more sense, and that's what I do.
04
What is responsive web design?
→
It means your site adjusts to fit any screen, so it works properly on a phone, tablet or laptop. Every site I build is designed mobile-first.
05
Can you write the words for my new site?
→
Yes, if you want me to. I can rewrite your copy as part of the redesign, or you can supply your own.
06
Do you use templates?
→
No. No templates, no shortcuts. I build every site myself, from scratch.
07
Can you redesign my Wix or Squarespace site?
→
Yes. I rebuild it properly on my own setup and move your content across, rather than working inside Wix or Squarespace.
08
Do I own the redesigned website?
→
Yes. Once the project is paid in full, you own the site, the files and the design. If the domain is yours, you can move to any host you like.
09
Can you refresh my logo and brand at the same time?
→
Yes. A redesign is often the right moment for a brand refresh too. That's what I did for LC Gyrotonic.
10
How long does a small business website redesign take?
→
Usually around 14 days, depending on the project. Late content, extra feedback or transferring an existing domain can push the launch date back.
