I design around what you told me. You see progress along the way, so nothing comes as a surprise.

Three rounds of revisions. We go back and forth until it feels right, not just close enough.

I build the site, set up your domain and email, and take it live.

I don't disappear after handover. Got a question three months down the line? Just shout.

What affects timing: how many pages you need, whether branding is part of it, and how quickly content and feedback come back. Transferring an existing domain can also delay the launch.

Every bespoke website is quoted per project. No one-size-fits-all packages. What makes up the price:

Whether you need a logo and branding too.
Copywriting, written by me or supplied by you.

Hosting, and which plan suits you.

After launch

Hosting, support and getting found

Hosting is available for every site I build, on monthly or yearly plans. Depending on the plan you choose, that can cover updates, backups and security checks, plus ongoing work to keep you visible on Google and across all AI search.

Every site I build gets a basic SEO setup, so Google and AI assistants like ChatGPT can understand who you are and what you do. Staying visible takes ongoing work, and that's what my SEO/AEO retainer is for.

If I host your site, changes are easy: tell me what you need and I'll make them. If it's hosted elsewhere, you can update it yourself, or I'll send over what you need.

It's yours, too. Once the project is paid in full, you own the site, the files and the design. If you own your domain, you can move to any host you like.

And I don't disappear after handover. Got a question three months down the line? Just shout.

How much does a website cost in Edinburgh?

How long does it take to build a small business website?

Most small business websites can be ready to launch within 14 days. Late content, extra feedback or transferring an existing domain can push the launch date back.

Are you a freelancer or an agency?

I'm a freelance studio, not an agency. You deal with the person doing the work, from the first call to launch day and after. No account managers, no hand-offs.

Do you only work with Edinburgh businesses?

No. I'm based in Edinburgh and work with businesses across the UK. If you're in Edinburgh, I'm happy to meet face to face. If you're further away, we'll talk over FaceTime or a phone call.

Can you design my logo and branding as well as the website?

Yes. I often do both together, so the logo, colours and website all feel like one brand. That's what I did for LC Gyrotonic and Caim Guardian Services.

Do you offer website hosting?

Yes. Hosting is available on monthly or yearly plans. Depending on the plan you choose, that can cover updates, backups, security checks and ongoing work to keep you visible on Google and across all AI search.

Do I own my website and domain?

Yes. Once the project is paid in full, you own the site, the files and the design work. If the domain name is yours, you're free to move to any host you like.

Can I update the website myself?

It depends where it's hosted. If I host it, I make the changes for you: just tell me what you need. If it's with another host, you can update it yourself, or I'll send over what you need to do it.

Do you write the content for my website?

I can. Copywriting can be part of the project, or you can supply your own words. We'll agree which on the first call.

Can you redesign my existing website?

Yes, I take on redesigns. If your current site looks tired, doesn't work on a phone or no longer fits your business, I'll rebuild it from scratch around where you are now.

Will my website show up on Google and in AI answers like ChatGPT?

It will be built to be found, with a basic SEO setup. For ongoing visibility on Google and in AI search, that's what my SEO/AEO retainer is for, and we can talk through what's realistic for your business.

What happens after my site goes live?
